As there is no (easy) way to know when you last posted to the group and that following the group pool is not always simple either, I have written a little greasemonkey script to add more information on the group page.
1Installation
- Get Firefox
- Install GreaseMonkey
- restart Firefox
- If you liked the script, think about helping me back and consider a small donation, click the paypal button on the right.
- Click on the following icon and select "Install"
2Features
Currently, it will give you(see the notes on the photo):
- the 8 last photos in the group
- the date of your last post to the group (if the last post is in the last 24 hours, then, the date is written in red)
- the number of post you’ve done in the last 24 hours
- the group description
- New Link to FlickrRandom to get some random photos from the group.
Update: This script now works on the following groups lists:
- the list of groups you administer
- the list of groups you are a member of
- the list of groups at the end of the page group (Popular and New)
- the list of groups on a profile page (for anyone)
This will allow you to follow simply the life of all of your groups and control the number of post per day you do to avoid going over the limits. It will also help you to quickly discover new groups.
The script does work with the Group List Sorter script. However,or full compatibility, it is recommended to install the latter after this script.
