Some time ago, I had managed to hack what these keys could do, so it was quite easy to extend it to Amarok.
You first have to install Proxi. Proxi is a very nice free program to help you set up any type of triggers and specify what task to perform on them.
In our case, we have to set triggers to catch the Logitech keyboard media keys. To do that, you have to install the hack I provide here: Logitech Keyboard Media Keys for Proxi. Then you have to set up the triggers. I provide a Proxi blueprint here so that you have the basic bindings set up:
Drag and Drop the file into the Proxi Editor and you’ll have bindings for the play/pause, stop and next/previous keys. You can always go and edit them if you want to do more with these triggers.
